If someone asked you what you love about your body would you be able to answer them right away?
Or would you instead think of all the lumpy bits first?
Today is I Heart My Body day and we are doing just that.
Loving our bodies just as they are.

To join in all you need to do is post a picture to your blog and tell us what YOU love about your body.
Come back and link your blog!

Thanks for hosting this – it’s such a fantastic idea. Sorry my linky seems to have posted twice – can you delete one of them?
Can’t wait to see everyone’s posts today!
Thanks Zoey!
I had so much fun last year, definitely think it will have to happen every year!

I tried to do this last year & I tried to do it this year but I don’t love a single thing about my body. I have two mummy aprons. I have stretch marks worse than any of the people posted above. I have stretch marks on my boobs. I have fat legs. Everything hangs. I hate my thighs. I hate the way my skin on my stomach hangs twice. I hate it all which is I can’t write a post promoting body love when I hate my own. I hate most of all that I’m just 18 and I feel this way.
Emma, I felt the need to publish your comment; even though I normally won’t publish anything negative on here that just isn’t what this site is about.
I just wish I could give you a big hug! I wish that you could find something you love, ask someone else what they love. See if that helps.

Emma darl we are parents of two 18 year olds. I am almost 45 and Heartpoet is 56. We have joined in for the first time this year. If we can be brave then so can you ;]
Think about the uniqueness of your fingerprint, eye color, skin tone, hair colour/texture and the beauty of your heart, mind and soul. You are exquisite hon just the way you are!

I even tried again and took some pictures but looking at them made me drop my jaw and ask if I really look like that.. are you sure I didn’t take with a kilo adding camera, i was never going to look like this. It’s funny that i wrote a blog post and ballet and body love just this week without realising it co-incided with this post. I just can’t do it. I’m fucking 18. I’m supposed to be hot and out clubbing which i don’t really care about (the clubbing not the being hot) I do care about being hot and im not, im letting everyone down including my boyfriend who used ot have a hot girlfriend and now.

Carly, I loooove this linky. Thanks for doing this. I didn’t think I’d have the courage to tell my story and post a pic. But what the heh…it’s just the internet!
What a great initiative – it’s so important for us to love our bodies. I love seeing all the bodies on show. I’ve gotten to know so many beautiful blogging souls that their bodies weren’t relevant to me, but now I’ve seen them, I am even more amazed.
Thanks Carly for commenting on my blog – you are stunning :)
You ladies are all such a huge inspiration.
Wonderful idea! x
All of you are amazing and beautiful. Well done!
Great work, Carly. You have done great work with this campaign. Love it!
wasn’t going to link up, but was given a slight push by Kate Says Stuff.. So my very raw piece is linked.
Hi girls,
I’ve just realised that my link above is taking people to my home page & not to the I heart post….. I’m so sorry about that. The correct link is: http://www.tisthelife.com/?p=235 do you mind please updating my link.
Thanks so much for a wonderful, inspiring & empowering campaign.

I blogged that I love my body. I’ve now been called a “ho” behind my back… I don’t regret it & I am keeping my post up! I’m not responding to the bitching. I do love my body and we should all be proud for showing such confidence & strength! I hope nobody else has copped any negativity! xx
